Cass Edwards

Cass graduated from the University of Westminster, London, UK in September 2000 with a BSc Honours Degree in Medical Physiology.

Cass chose to assume a position close to her home in Brazil, at St. Mattheus Hospital. There she took charge of, ran and developed the services of the Clinical Neurophysiology Department independently to a high standard, to include a wide range of electrodiagnostic and sleep testing techniques. Cass also has experience in comprehensive Lung Function testing.

In 2003, Cass elected to return to the UK to further her career and studies at King’s College, London, where she was able to gain more specialist experience, hone and perfect her skills/knowledge. In 2007 she graduated with Honours in Clinical Physiology (Neurophysiology) through the accreditation of City of Westminster College.

In October 2006 she undertook a position of Chief Clinical Physiologist (Neuro) at the Clinical Neurophysiology Department, Cromwell Hospital, London. There she held a highly responsible role in the Video-EEG Telemetry Unit in co-ordinating admission, preparing and wiring all patients who required long-term monitoring as well as providing accurate factual reports, e.g. patients with multiple seizure types, difficult ictal semiological characteristics, pseudoseizures and those admitted for pre-surgical evaluation as well as PSG.
